Despite decisions about Personal Independence Payments (PIPs) taking an average of 40 weeks, few Tribunals hearing appeals and the waiting times for assessments for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) increasing to over a year for some clients; Ipswich DAB has, since 1 April 2014, helped their clients obtain their entitlement to welfare benefits totalling £1,002,991.43
